With companions sick of being sold junk, and a '1' on his Wisdom roll, the party managed to persuade him of the unutilised market for weapons and supplies presented by the enemy army. He finally met his end when the party went off to divert an orc and hobgoblin army from the city. Needless to say, the combat-averse character was completely ignored by the golems, and the legend of Monster Repellent was born!
